1.Overview

When Ca2+ and Mg2+ in the water are more than needed, we label this kind of water hard water which is  the 

least favourite because Ca2+ and Mg2+  form scales that build up on piping, heat exchangers, boilers and other steam related equipment and result in their inefficiency. Accordingly water softening methods mainly rely on the removal of Ca2+ and Mg2+ from a solution. 

Hongjun water softener  adopts Ion-exchange resin devices to achieve removal by ion exchange

Hongjun water softener can be equipped for manual, semi-automatic, or full-automatic operation and regeneration in efficiency.  They can be integrated into a complete water 

treatment system without additional expensive custom field engineering and programming.

2. A  prefilter  is used to remove any large suspended particles and remove any large suspended particles and solids that can damage downstream equipment. The most common prefilter  are

• Sand filters- for particulate removal.

• Activated carbon filters - for chlorine contaminant removal such as taste and odour.
