Mix bed also calls ion exchange column, it is designed for ion exhcange equipments. That is, fill the cation & anion exchange resin in the same exchange device at certain proportation, usually 1:2 or 1:1.5 to realize deionization. As density of cation resin is larege than anion, anion is above cation resin.

2.  System Structure:

Housing is usually made of FRP, 304 stainless steel with rubber lining or carbon steel with rubber lining.

3.  Function:

Mix bed is mainly used to reduce hardness, alkalinity, cation & anion from water to get softened water or deionized water.

2. Stable output water's quality, short-term changes in operation conditions do not have many effects of the quality.

5. Application Field:

Mix bed is generally placed after electrodialysis or reverse osmosis device (or directly used to low salinity water) to get high quality pure water/ultra-pure water. It widely used in electronic, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, nuclear, power field and other industries.
